Surprise!

I did something unexpected. I decided that I wanted to put three of my holiday stories in one collection. I love holiday stories. I love Hallmark movies or just holiday movies and stories in general. So this time, I’ve combined three of my stories in one collection!

Gingerbread Spice Naughty & Nice will feature three pieces that have been out before. Spicy with a Side of Cranberry Sauce, Gingerbread Photography, and Noelle by Night. Get it now: https://books2read.com/u/mlazD7

These books span the Thanksgiving to New Years time period. If you’ve read these books already, you can still snag this to get an all new extended ended with with bonus epilogue on Gingerbread Photography which is only available in this collection!

Blurb: This is a holiday collection of three separate stories, each following different relationships, each with its own Happily Ever After, and all set during the Thanksgiving – New Years Holiday season.

SPICY WITH A SIDE OF CRANBERRY SAUCE: Who would’ve thought that a simple can of cranberry sauce could lead to holiday disaster? Or to Happily Ever After?

GINGERBREAD PHOTOGRAPHY: During an X-rated x-mas photo shoot, Walker and Ben decide that this year, maybe they’ll get something special for Christmas: the photographer, Lexie.**

**This version has an extended ending and an all new never before released BONUS epilogue.

NOELLE BY NIGHT: Nelle hates Christmas. Glen’s as jolly as they come. When Fate brings them back together, can he convince her that the holidays are about more than scorched presents and loss?

Keep reading for more info on how I came up with the idea for Spicy with a Side of Cranberry Sauce.

How did you come up with that? – It’s a question I get asked all the time, and the answers always surprise people. So here’s how I came up with this book concept:

This idea came to me from a discussion with a friend and colleague of mine when I was teaching English in France. We were on a two-hour train ride and got to chatting about family dynamics and weird relationships and finding love. It was a deep conversation, but those are the best kind, right?

So we were chatting about someone falling for a person, only to find out that their parents were together, and how much that would suck. This was prompted by some friends he knew who were in their very late teens/early twenties when his mom and her dad got together.

This was LOOOONG before Step-cest was a big thing in books. (step-cest, if you don’t know is when the step-siblings get together. It’s a semi-taboo or ultra taboo topic depending on how it’s handled, but it was also done in Clueless & Drive me Crazy, two teen movies that were wildly popular and which no-one thought was gross)

So, anyways, that’s how Mason & Amy’s story was born! I won’t give away any spoilers, but that’s the overall idea of the story. Amy and Mason see each other, feel an attraction, and then, discover that her dad and his mom are seeing each other. Conflict ensues!
