Welcome to the new me!

What’s in a name you ask? Well, for authors, everything. Since I’m jumping into a new-to-me genre which is a bit different from my normal flavor of romance, I decided to launch another penname. Don’t worry, Rachell Nichole isn’t going anywhere, I promise. But let me take a moment to introduce you to Joelle Nichole.

Joelle (or Jo for short) thinks that romance shouldn’t just be amazing, but magical! She writes in the genre of reverse harem. If you’re not familiar, RH books feature one female main character (FMC) with a harem of at least 3 other people, all devoted to the care and wellbeing of the FMC. These members of the harem can have side relationships or not, and be any gender, but are often male.

So, this brand new series, in this genre, will be a group of classic fairytale retellings, beginning with Ruby’s Fire, a (very loose) retelling of the Red Riding Hood tale.

Ruby’s Duet Book 1:

Witches mate for life. This I’ve always known. I’ve also always known I don’t want a mate. But our laws say I need one to rule. Eff. That!

When Gran goes missing, I must save her, and prove to everyone that I’m ready to lead, mate be damned.

But Fate? Well, that witch with a B has other plans for me.

Suddenly I’m saddled with not one mate, but two! Twin werewolves who bring out the fire in me, making me feel utterly out of control. We only have five days to seal the ties between the three of us, but a bonded triad has never existed before.

I risk one or all three of us if I screw this up, too. The only one who might be able to help? Gran. And the closer I get to her trail, the more I know she’s in real danger. I have to find her before we succumb to pulls of our mating bond.

But resisting the temptation of my mates might prove to be the one fight I can never win.

Fate really is a witch.
