It is release day again! If you’ve been with me for the past several months, you’ll know that Mr. Nichole and I are expecting our first baby in September. Because of this, my writing schedule for this book went haywire, and while it was originally supposed to come out in April, I had to push it back to Today.

Thank you all so much for being very patient with me as I took the time needed to write Tobias, Nathaniel, and Amber’s story. This one was a beast! It was great to be writing about three people working toward one relationship again. I’ve done this in the past, but not in a full-length novel, and I loved digging so deeply into these characters and their story. Nathaniel was also my first cinnamon roll Dom. He’s everything amazing and sweet and wonderful in the world, innocent and adorable, and a marshmallow inside and out. But he also happens to be a sensual Dom, a Daddy Dom. He is the perfect counterpoint to Tobias, whose Dominant style is all about playing in the darkness with his partner. He is harsh and demanding, and everything Nathaniel isn’t. Luckily for both of them, Amber needs one as much as the other in her life.

When I was done writing the draft for this book, I was exhausted for DAYS. The Big Black Moment took so much out of me. Making these three go kaboom before their HEA took a lot of tears, and hours of hard writing. And I couldn’t be happier with the results. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I do. Keep reading for an excerpt from these three.

Here is the blurb for BETWEEN SIRS:  Amber Olson can’t find what she wants in a man. She’s been through Doms the way some women go through cocktails. Swiping right, swiping left – it doesn’t matter. Every encounter leaves her wanting. Obviously, something is wrong with her. She can’t find a Sir who meets her needs. Until Tobias.

He’s dark, mysterious, harsh… maybe a little too harsh. Their sessions leave her begging for more, but the intensity soon becomes too much and she finds herself searching for something lighter, someone sweeter.

When Nathaniel seems to fit that bill all too well, she has to figure out what to do. She can’t have it both ways. Can she?

A terribly bad, wonderful idea strikes: maybe instead of one Sir, what she really needs is two. But two possessive dominants could never agree to share one submissive.

AUTHOR’S NOTE: This book explores dark themes of consensual non-consent.

And an Excerpt:

The glint in his bright blue eyes as he said princess made her want to squirm, but Amber resisted the urge. “Princess?”

He nodded and leaned closer on the bar stool. “Mmhmm,” he lowered his voice to a sexy whisper. “Princess, because you’re sitting there all pouty and demanding like a princess. Leia, perhaps.”

She smiled as he leaned into her, his arm brushing hers and making her body’s awareness of him heighten even more. “Leia is a general. Not a princess.” She cocked her head to the side in challenge but didn’t pull back from his body heat.

He leaned closer still, until his mouth was just a few inches from her left ear. “That she is, princess. But I thought you were interested in auditioning for the role of my submissive, not my general.”

She laughed, and even to her own ears, the sound was low and breathy. Sexy. Which was exactly the way Tobias Powers was making her feel. Her thighs clenched. “Oh, no, dear, I think it is you who is auditioning here, not the other way around.” That needed to be clear. She was a submissive. Obviously, she wanted a Dominant. They both knew it. But that didn’t mean she had to let him think he had all the control, now did it?

His soft chuckle was a brush of air against her cheek, ear, and neck. A shiver brushed through her. “Is that so?”

“Mmmhmm.” It was all she could manage.

She swallowed hard and savored the feel of excitement crashing through her. It had been a while since she’d felt like this.

“And what, pray tell, will this audition entail, princess?”

Why did the way he called her princess make her heart thunder so hard? Chase had been right. Tobias might be exactly what she needed. Her flirtations with Nathaniel had been steadily increasing since she’d told him how cute he was when he blushed at the beginning of this week. But they were simply dancing around one another. It had barely whet her appetite. It was making her needy. She wanted to press Nathaniel to make a move, but she wasn’t sure he was ready.

Tobias seemed ready for just about anything, and she was tired of waiting. Time to really throw down the gauntlet and see if he could pick it up.

“Make me yours.” It was broad, bold request. It could entail just about anything.

He stiffened slightly against her. If they hadn’t been so close, she might not have noticed it. But pressed together as they were, she felt every breath of his, in their tiny confined space. He let out a long puff of air, and the feel of it against her skin made her want to whimper. She swallowed it down, though.

“Be careful what you wish for, princess.”

The dark threat set her pulse pounding double time.
