Stand Alone Books

Enjoy these stand alone books on their own. Each one follows a different relationship, and is sure to melt your e-reader.

While I love writing series, I also have several pieces that are not connected to the series. Several of them are holiday books, using a time of year and the themes surrounding those holidays. You can find out more about these pieces below.

Spicy with a Side of Cranberry Sauce

Who would’ve thought that a simple can of cranberry sauce could lead to holiday disaster?

Amy Easton’s idea for the perfect Thanksgiving doesn’t include giving up the last can of cranberry sauce to a stranger, no matter how sexy he is. She will make this holiday special for Dad even if it kills her. And that means getting everything on the shopping list.

Mason Rider is home to help his mom through her first post-divorce holiday, but when he finds the seductive blonde who body-checked his grocery cart standing in Mom’s kitchen, he doesn’t know what to do. Sharing Thanksgiving with this woman and her father wasn’t part of his damned plan. But when things heat up between him and Amy, and neither one can deny the attraction, how will they break the news to their parents?

Gingerbread Photography

During an X-rated x-mas photo shoot, Walker and Ben decide that this year, maybe they’ll get something special for Christmas: the photographer, Lexie.

Walker Savidge is one of FDNY’s Finest. He’s also one of the only openly bisexual fireman in the city. But his boyfriend is still very much in the closet, and not comfortable with his own sexual needs and desires. Every time they get close in public, Ben pulls away.

Ben knows Walker is fed up with his hang-ups, but he can’t seem to help it. Every time he thinks he might be okay with announcing to the world that he also likes guys, the horrors of his high school locker room stop him. When Walker suggests a private photo shoot, Ben agrees, though the idea makes him squirm.

Lexie is reluctant to take on a last-minute meeting with Walker and his boyfriend in the rush of the holiday season, but can’t deny the sultry voice of one of the sexiest firemen she’s ever met.

As the photo shoot heats up, Walker jumps into the photos with Ben, and it’s almost more than she can bear. Until the two men ask her to join them in front of the camera instead of behind it. Tempted by their heat, and deciding maybe she can give herself a special treat this Christmas, Lexie agrees.

Break Through the Ice

As things heat up in the Adirondack Mountains, will the inferno melt the ice?

When Jasmine Graves is invited to the set of the movie based on her book series, she thinks all her dreams have come true. The Vince Demarco, the man she’s based her hero on for the past seven years, will be there and she can’t wait to meet him. Little does she know that she’ll have to face her worst fears to keep her leading man.

Vince Demarco has never been as intrigued by a character or an author before being introduced to the haunted werewolf he’s been cast to play. So when he comes face to face with its creator, Jasmine Graves, he’s awestruck. But he fears an author who’s a reported recluse will want nothing to do with the paparazzi madness and crazy shooting schedule that comes with dating a movie star.

Neither one can deny the almost animal attraction that overwhelms them at first contact. But can an author and her muse breakthrough the barriers between them, or will the heat between them turn to ice in the winter cold of the Adirondack Camp?

Queen of Hearts

Astrology says they’re compatible, but neither woman can be sure.

Maya is a Gemini. She exhibits the classic Gemini traits: She is adaptable, affectionate, versatile, witty, intellectual, tense, cunning, and holds a deep-seated fear of commitment. Which means she’s a perfect match for Aquarius Erica.

Erica, also true to her astrological sign is friendly, a humanitarian, honest, loyal, original, inventive, fiercely independent, intellectual, contrary, unpredictable, unemotional, and detached.  She hasn’t found a satisfying relationship in ages, and is ready to give up on love, even though she runs a dating service.

After a one night stand, fate keeps throwing them together. In the weeks leading up to February 14, Maya offers to help Erica plan the Queen of Hearts Matchmaking Valentine’s event, even though she doesn’t know much about dating women. Erica quickly realizes that even though Maya bolted after their first night, she may be the only hope Erica has to save her business.
